Trireme is the second instalment in the War at Sea project, of which the first part is Ship of the Line, and the third will be Dreadnought. A fourth instalment, tentatively titled Galleys and Galleons is in the planning stage.
Trireme will extend the Ship of the Line game engine to cover naval warfare in the age of oars, roughly from around 500 BC to 1000 AD, with an emphasis on the ships and battles of Classical and Hellenistic Greece, and of course on the eponymous trireme.
